Well this week certainly had some good and bad performances. Sadly, we also had to endure those overly dramatic dedications. However, all and all, I would say that the right people were voted off last week with one exception: AJ Tabaldo. Although I find him quite cheesy, he is definitely a better performer than Sanjaya Malakar. Each time I look at Sanjaya, I see a 12 year old version of Michael Jackson who sings like someone who has been neutered. The bottom line is that he should have been eliminated.

As far as the ladies are concerned, Alaina Alexander and Leslie Hunt couldn’t really sing at all, so I don’t think we will be missing much with them gone. Although it is surprising that Antonella Barba is still around. I guess those pictures of her on the Net really helped.

We will see what happens tonight with the guys.
