5 'Fer Fridays
Each week, People Search News provides five tips to readers to help them in their people searching efforts. So without further adieu, in the words of Rick Tufington, "Here we go!"
1. Social Security Numbers are nine digits long, unique to an individual and are a great way to search for someone. However, many people don’t realize that a unique ten digit number, a person’s telephone number, can be just as valuable in a people search.
2. We have said it many times and we will say it again: Almost any piece of identifying information that you have on your search subject can prove useful in finding them. So don’t throw away those old addresses or phone numbers!
3. Never hesitate to ask a professional. If you are having problems locating your search subject or want more information on a particular type of search, contact the customer service department of the people search company that you are using. Additionally, People Search News is always available to answer questions and can even aide in locating someone.
4. Aliases can be very useful in locating someone. If you don’t have the given birth name, try to think about other names or nicknames that person may use. For example, my uncle Earl Dubleche goes by Buzz Dubleche on almost everything, including his cable bill.
5. Don’t assume that a teacher, coach or even a carnival worker has been required to pass a background check to gain employment. Companies have different hiring processes and there really is no easy way to tell if an employee has been thoroughly screened or not. Therefore, it is better “to be safe than sorry” and to run a background check on any individual that may interfere with your safety or the safety of your family.
